XWD/BWY Cycloidal Reducer Motor – Series Overview
The cycloidal reducer adopts a meshing cycloid-pin gear design based on a planetary transmission principle, so it is usually also referred to as a planetary cycloidal reducer.
This reducer is widely used in industries such as petroleum, environmental protection, chemicals, cement, transportation, textiles, pharmaceuticals, food processing, printing, lifting, mining, metallurgy, construction, and power generation.
As a drive or reduction unit, it is available in horizontal, vertical, dual-shaft, and direct-coupled configurations. Its robust and compact structure makes it an ideal replacement for conventional cylindrical gear reducers and worm gear reducers in many applications. As a result, the planetary cycloidal gear reducer has gained broad acceptance across diverse industrial fields.
