CH/CV Horizontal Reducer — Helical Gear Motor (with Brake)
The CH/CV horizontal reducer, commonly known as a helical gear motor (with brake) or reduction motor, is an integrated unit combining a gearbox and a motor. It is usually assembled and supplied as a complete unit by a professional gear motor manufacturer.
Gear motors are widely used in the steel industry, the machinery industry, and in systems assembled with magnetic powder clutches and brakes.
An AC gear motor achieves speed reduction by transmitting high-speed power from a motor, internal combustion engine, or other power source to the input shaft, where the smaller gear engages with the larger gear on the output shaft, thereby reducing the output speed.
